My Black Friday Purchases for RVers and Campers

No, I didn’t actually get out in all that insane traffic or more importantly, open my eyes before the sun was fully above the horizon. However, I did come across a couple of items I’m definitely getting for Brad. (no worries, he doesn’t even read this blog…bad boy not reading my our blog..buy I digress..)

Anyways, I rarely “promote” products on this blog but I think these couple of items may solve some of any fulltime or even part-time camper’s issues. And the best part, they are inexpensive and they are “skinny”. For my space conscious friends, that needs no further explanation.

Air Grill - ($9.95)

First up, the Air Grill. I’m hoping this little sucker, I mean blower, will provide less of a lighter fluid after- taste in our grilled meats. No one will ever convince me it’s part of the bbq “flavoring”.

Log Grabber ($17.19)

And second, I saw someone using a device similar to this log grabber. This puts the fire poker to shame. I’m tired of men / boys crying over crispy fingers or blisters from moving the fire pit logs around. My only worry is how strong it is. It has mostly great reviews, however, a couple people have broke it. Now, if they were trying to haul a trunk of a tree around, then yes, it may break.

Landmann 35-Inch Log Grabber

Pyroclaw (http://www.pyroclaw.com)

I also found this version, but the website screams like a  “As seen on TV” and it looks like it may not of been updated since 2009. Not to mention it’s more expensive.

I ended up going with the Air Grill and Landman Log Grabber on Amazon as they will fulfill the need to spend $25 to get the free shipping option. I’m going to email the pyroclaw guy and see if I can get some more information in case the first one isn’t hefty enough. We pick up lots of wood around the campgrounds we volunteer so we need something that’s going to last!
